Leading a rag-tag (and often unwilling) crew, Captain Long John Silverside rules the waves with an iron hoof! Arrogant and bold, Silverside thinks nothing of trampling those in his way, ready to back up his swordsmanship with a host of dirty tactics in order to get what he wants....
Rough and rowdy, and hailing from the Scottish Highlands, Bovy Jones cuts through his foes in a whirl of steel! Wielding twin cutlasses, Bovy's athletic agility makes him a force to be reckoned with, despite his slender frame. A long-standing rival to Silverside, will Bovy get his revenge?
A legend in her own lifetime, Dai Shi was feared throughout the seas, and her reputation spanned the globe! Blackmailed out of retirement by Captain Long John Silverside, Dai Shi may be older than she was in her prime... but is still just as cunning and ruthless, and her axe just as sharp!
Descended from the African Forest Buffalo, gunner Kanonbul is literally a mountain of beef! Huge in both strength and stature, he carries one of the ship's guns, which he swings around with ease, creating a devastating combination of heavy impact and close-quarter cannonfire damage!
Despite his name, ship's cook Beefy Stu is better known for his snide snivelling! As slippery as the swordfish he fights with, Stu thinks nothing of toadying up to stronger crewmates for protection... then stabbing them in the back should he feel he has the advantage!
Admiral Mootilda of the Empire is the scourge of pirates throughout the seven seas. Humiliated when Dai Shi struck a bargain with the Queen of the Empire and retired, Mootilda has been after revenge for years: if it means cutting through Silverside and the rest of his crew, so be it!
Leda Entertainment was founded in 2010 by Ben Pritchard and Paul Harman, and draws on their experiences from creating public domain games back in the 16-bit era. At a time when "indie" has lost much of its meaning, our guiding principle is bringing people together through our games, both in playing them and creating them. Thus, we describe Leda Entertainment as a "grassroots" game studio.
This people-focused vision has evolved in the time since; our early portfolio consists of over a dozen mobile titles, including the Leda Arcade Collection - a tribute to the games of the founders' childhoods. Following this, and driven by feedback from players, we have expanded into the console arena, "Bullion" being our both our first title designed primarily for these platforms, and also our first 3D title.
